A Chronograph with a Different Point of View

Rather than a conventional round case, the 1972 Competition uses an elliptical stainless steel case that measures 45.5 mm across from 9 to 3 o’clock and 41 mm from 12 to 6 o’clock. The crown and chronograph pushers are placed at the top of the case, creating the distinctive bullhead-style profile that gives this watch its visual identity.

Its sunray anthracite dial is finished with orange chronograph details and a matching tachymeter scale. Luminous hands and markers make it easy to read, while the 30-minute counter, small seconds, and date display supply the practical information a true chronograph should have.
