The Laco Augsburg Blaue Stunde 42 brings a deep-blue sunray finish to the clean, highly legible Type A pilot-watch layout. As light moves across the dial, its color shifts from restrained darkness to a brighter blue shimmer, giving the functional flieger design a more refined everyday character.
Its matte-finished stainless-steel case has a lightly brushed surface that preserves the technical character of a traditional pilot watch. Sapphire crystal protects the dial, while a sapphire exhibition caseback provides a view of the automatic movement. The current Ref. 862100.2 configuration is fitted with Laco's updated grey two-piece nylon strap.
Pilot-Watch Design and Mechanical Performance
The Type A dial uses large Arabic numerals, a clear minute track, and matte-black hands for immediate reading. Super-LumiNova C3 is applied to the numerals, indices, and hands to support visibility in reduced light.
Inside is the automatic Laco 2S movement, based on the Miyota 82S0. It supports automatic and manual winding, includes a stop-seconds function for more precise time setting, and provides approximately 42 hours of running time.
