The Laco Palermo 39 gives the historic Type B navigator watch a distinctive modern accent. Bright orange numerals, indices, and hands stand out against the black dial, preserving the instant readability of a traditional flieger while giving the watch a more contemporary character.
Its compact 39 mm matt-finished stainless-steel case is comfortable for everyday wear without losing the purposeful proportions of a pilot watch. A black calf-leather strap with orange stitching completes the design and ties directly to the luminous dial details.
Historic Navigator Layout, Modern Color
Laco was one of the selected manufacturers of German observation watches in the 1940s. The Palermo follows the characteristic Type B layout used by navigators: large five-minute numerals circle the outer track, while the hour scale sits inside an additional central ring. The result is unmistakably aviation inspired and exceptionally easy to read.
Super-LumiNova in orange is applied to the numerals, indices, and hands for visibility in reduced light. The vivid color also makes the Palermo a natural choice for the buyer who wants authentic pilot-watch design with more personality than the traditional black-and-white formula.
Inside is the automatic Laco 2S movement, based on the Miyota 82S0. It supports automatic and manual winding, includes a stop-seconds function for precise time setting, and provides approximately 42 hours of running time.
