Created to mark 100 years of Laco and 70 years of Circula, the ProLab brings together two Pforzheim watchmakers in a collaboration limited to just 170 numbered sets worldwide.
Rather than creating a single commemorative watch, Laco and Circula exchanged design languages. Each brand contributed elements of its own tool-watch identity to the other, resulting in two distinct watches designed to belong together.
This complete set is new and unworn. The edition is now sold out at Laco, and this is the final ProLab set available from Legend of Time.

What makes the ProLab interesting is not simply its rarity. The collaboration is visible in the watches themselves.
The ProLab Sand combines the case architecture of Laco's PRO series with a warm, field-watch-inspired dial influenced by Circula's ProTrail.
The ProLab Schwarz reverses the idea, pairing Circula's hardened ProTrail-style case with the highly legible Type B pilot-watch language closely associated with Laco.
Side by side, the two watches make sense as a single collector set while remaining genuinely different on the wrist.

ProLab Sand
Warm and understated, the Sand is the more relaxed of the pair. Its 40 mm dark sandblasted stainless-steel case surrounds a textured sand-colored dial with an outer luminous ring in Super-LumiNova Old Radium. Thermally blued hands add a cooler contrast, while 20 ATM water resistance and a screw-down crown give it genuine tool-watch capability.
Inside is the automatic Laco 200, based on the Sellita SW200.
ProLab Schwarz
The Schwarz takes a sharper, more instrument-driven approach. Its 40 mm stainless-steel case is hardened to approximately 1,200 Vickers for increased scratch resistance and incorporates a soft-iron cage providing anti-magnetic protection.
The black dial uses the classic Type B pilot-watch arrangement, with minutes around the outer track and hours positioned toward the center. Super-LumiNova BGW9 and thermally blued hands complete the cool, highly legible design.
Water resistance is rated to 15 ATM, with a Sellita SW200 Elaboré automatic movement inside.
